In 2022, World Ruby was born from a heartfelt desire to uplift the world's most vulnerable communities. A small group of passionate volunteers came together, united by the belief that collective action could spark meaningful change. What started as a simple idea by an enthusiast lady soon blossomed into a global mission of hope.
The First Step Toward Global Impact: World Ruby had taken its first bold step beyond borders, embarking on an international mission to provide clothes and food to children in Africa. This marked the beginning of a movement that would transform lives, one community at a time.
With a growing global footprint, World Ruby turned its attention to the power of education. The launch of the "Education for All" initiative set a new course for the foundation, giving out school supplies to children ranging from (Bag packs, water bottles, stationeries, notebooks and son), offering education to hundreds of children in underserved regions. The impact was clear: education was changing futures.
Empowering Women and CommunitiesWorld Ruby's mission broadened to include empowering women through the Women for Change program. This initiative aimed to equip women in vulnerable regions with the skills, and resources to become supportive in provision for their families. From little monetary gifts for small businesses to vocational training, the program enabled women to build sustainable livelihoods and uplift their families. As the backbone of many societies, empowering women became central to transforming entire communities.
In 2024, World Ruby's journey reached new heights as we built a global network of compassion, connecting volunteers, partners, and donors from around the world. This year marked the establishment of regional hubs in Africa, and North America, allowing for more localized and efficient support.
Our global family continued to grow, united by the shared goal of creating lasting change. Whether through education, emergency relief, clothing, food and essential supplies. World Ruby remained committed to bringing hope and resources to those in need, proving that together, we can make the world a better place, and save and help a child in need.
Outreach Programs- (Monthly basis)
A. Distributed Essential Resources: Provided food packages and clothing items to children and families in various communities, ensuring they meet basic living standards.
B. Education Initiatives: Donated school supplies to children, including notebooks, mathematical sets, stationeries, and calculators, supporting them in underserved areas.
C. Provision for Infants and Newborns: Provided essential items like diapers, cereal, and milk for newborns and infants under 2 years old.
D. Teenage Girls Outreach: Supplied toiletries and sanitary pads to young girls entering puberty.
Family Assistance: Providing immediate relief to families during crises, including food, shelter (covering rental costs), clothing, hospital bills, small scale retail business support, other financial aid, and repair or purchase of work tools for parents
World Ruby Foundation has made significant strides in achieving its goals through dedicated outreach efforts. By focusing on the needs of children and families, we have not only provided essential resources but also empowered families to create sustainable, positive change.
